With 15 years as the best selling compact pickup, Ranger isn't resting on its laurels. The 2004 Ranger roars in with a new 2.3L I-4 engine, delivering increased horsepower at 143 and torque at 154 lb.-ft. with improved fuel economy. Also avaiable is a 3.0L V6 engine producing 154 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 180 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,900 rpm, plus a 4.0L V6 engine with 207 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 238 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,000 rpm.
